Lovely Condition

SS dagger for sale, manufactured by the particularly rare to find firm of, Klittermann & Moorg, Solingen. The  dagger with a black ebony grip, with inset aluminium eagle/swastika, and enamel SS Runes eye. Nickle-silver plated upper and lower mounts.

The blade with motto bearing the rarely found exclamation mark. The reverse with the RZM M7/29  markings. The scabbard with mounts in nickle-silver plate. The scabbard shell in typical black paint finish. 

Condition report: The dagger surviving in very good towards excellent condition, with a stunning condition blade. The ebony grip clean and free from major damage. The nickle-silver and black enamel Runes eye perfect. The aluminium eagle/swastika clear and well defined. The ebony grip fitting generally well to the upper and lower crossguards, free from any major contraction. A clean screw top, indicating, perhaps, that the dagger has not been disassembled in recent times.

Blade in excellent towards near mint condition with most crossgrain still visible (98%). The motto remaining particularly clear and sharp. The Klittermann & Moorg RZM M7/29 marking also  remaining clear and sharp.

Scabbard clean, and free from dents or damage. The black paint to the scabbard original to the dagger, and with approximately 95% remaining. Nickle-silver plated upper and lower scabbard mounts with 98% plate remaining. Bottom ball free from any major dents or damage. All screws present and looking unmolested. Excellent dagger to scabbard fit.
